“Politics is not a game, but a serious business” - Winston Churchill

Did you ever wonder, how politics came to be, how it came to have the importance and influence it has today? Let’s admit it, watching the news lately has got us in a spiral of questioning.

First, what does “politic” mean?

The term “politic” comes from the ancient Greek word “politeia” which has a wide range of possible meanings, from the "the rights of citizens" to a "form of government".

However now, we commonly describe it as “the science of government” and it is crucial for today's civilizations. Politics are a complicated system of elections, laws, collaborations, and unfortunately even wars.

“The political sciences” are now a taught discipline, and its reach is far wider than you can imagine.
